Spencer Thorn is a proudly independent, family-owned, local bookshop and gift store in the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Bude. We’re very passionate about everything we do and are hugely proud of our heritage.
Local bookshop
Although we’ve grown and diversified over the last 50+ years, we remain true to our local bookshop roots and take great pride in sourcing out of print books and rare titles, as well as being Bude’s go-to place for the latest new releases, best sellers and gift books. We also stock a great range of non-fiction titles about the region, books by local authors and some exciting fiction set around the Bude area too.
