Autumnal Treats (and Spooky Halloween Jellycat)
May we start by giving you the nudge to pop the kettle on while you read this blog. It’s full of Autumnal imagery (and treats!) that call for cosiness of the highest order. Slippers, blankets, a lit candle: nestle down and enjoy some lovely little things we have squirreled away for you.
Firstly, the important business of seasonal Jellycat. To say we mark our year with the evolving, colourful carousel that is our Jellycat deliveries would be quite the understatement!
This year’s incredible Halloween offering has seen us all become obsessed with bats and toadstools and covet a pumpkin clad bear: we never know what joy awaits in this shop! Do have a browse of the exquisitely soft spookiness that’s sure to brighten up any drizzly autumnal day.
And what would a cosy day be without food? Gardens are being harvested, soups are being made and comfort food is of great importance. We find a basket of seasonal Jellycat produce brings joy at all times, and October brings with it bounty of broccoli, leeks and apples (if you want your Jellycat to be sublimely seasonal).
But, if root veg doesn’t float your boat, how about chocolate instead?
We feel very smug (and full) to have such amazing Autumnal offerings from Coco Pzazz. Pumpkin Crunch contains cinnamon and toasted pumpkin seeds (yum!) and Bonfire Honeycomb intriguingly has smoked beechwood salt and honeycomb pieces within milk chocolate.
It’s sugar-coated Autumn and that, surely, is exactly what’s needed with a cup of tea.
We find chocolate pairs very well with a great book, don’t you?  With that in mind we have done our very favourite trick of compiling some new lists for your reading pleasure.

Another absolute must for the beginnings of snug-as-a-bug season are jigsaws. The perfect accompaniment to a roaring fire, there is something so very comforting about the simple task of puzzling! Or grab some pals to get involved with a board game or two. No phones, much comfort and quality time together: just ensure you’ve crunched some leaves beforehand.Â
And if you’re out in the aforementioned (hopefully) crisp, rust-hued, leafy wonder days of Autumn, it’s imperative you accessorise accordingly.
