Spencer Thorn Supports A Sandy Summer!

You may have noticed that we truly, truly DO like to be beside the seaside! Perched at the top of beautiful Bude, our jolly blue shop is a short walk from the beaches we call home – and they are imperative for our daily life, wellbeing and entertainment!

So, this Summer, more than ever we want to get sandy, salty and reap the rewards to be found down on the shore. Fresh off the back of The Times crowning Bude Sea Pool the best UK Sea Swimming Pool AND having two of the nine blue flag beaches in Cornwall within walking distance, Bude is THE place to do it. And, as times are feeling a little tight, shall we have a summer of competitions to spread the seaside love?

 

You’ll notice our windows have transformed into Summer fun – coastal Jellycats galore, Gluggly fish, beach reads and, of course, a beach hut! We’ve made some great summer read booklists (if we do say so ourselves), have a cheeky new 10% off offer on our website and have stocked our happy shelves FULL of good stuff. The only thing we can’t control is the weather (SOZ) but how good is a cup of tea after a windy summer walk? Water from the sky can still be pretty wonderful (if paired with correct outerwear and followed by snacks).
